The Holidays are coming!

Usually around the holidays things get pretty nuts around here. Not just your normal to much to do Holiday things. The Paranormal activity really picks up. For years I had thought it was my aunt that had passed away here, not I'm not so sure. The reason we had all thought it was my Aunt was because it was just funny little things that would happen, light bulbs are continually blowing from just before Thanksgiving throughout New Years. Items around the house will randomly disappear and reappear somewhere else in the house. These were my Aunts favorite holidays and she would cook for the entire family throughout the Holidays.We just always assumed that she had come back to enjoy the festive time with us.Recently we have all been hearing random voices in the house, they are to faint to make out what they are saying. The normal things are disappearing and reappearing in the house. Each one of us have had things go missing, only to find them in an odd place later.Things are getting moved around in my kitchen more than usual.But this year we are getting more scratching in the walls and ceiling. Yep, the ceiling too. Marty told me there was no way anything could get into the ceiling to cause these scratching noises, and he finally got to hear it for himself yesterday. He was extremely puzzled to hear the scratching coming from my kitchen ceiling. He stood there for a while just listening to the strange sounds coming from the area above the refrigerator. They dogs are going into fits of barking as if they hear or see something none of us can. We hear things falling in unoccupied rooms, when we go to check there is nothing out of place.We have all seen the shadow figure move about the house. I had prayed that we would never see that again. It was gone for a long time, but now it has been seen once again by the entire family.

Last weekend Marty and Chris had started to put up the Christmas decorations so our house will look pretty for our Thanksgiving guests.They told me they had been out in the storage building getting out the Christmas decorations when they heard a male voice talking. It was to muffled to tell what it said but they both heard it more than once as they worked. When they told me about this I naturally turned on a digital recorder.We were all standing around the kitchen table as they guys untangled a mess of Christmas light. I lay the recorder in the center of the table. Marty was explaining to our four year old grandson what they were going to do with the Christmas lights,when the recorder captured a faint female voice say, "Lights!" We were all shocked when we played it back. It wasn't a voice any of us are familiar with.I guess now, I need to use the digital recorder a bit more often. We do not acknowledge anything being here by speaking to it. But we have still picked up EVP's where someone will comment on what the family members are currently talking about.
