This and That

I know it has been a while since I have sat down and written a post, but, I have a good excuse, I promise. I have just finished Family Ties. And I took a few days break after that one. It was my first work of fiction. And it was really hard for me to publish it. I had a lot of anxiety with that one, which to me was very strange. I assumed the fiction would be easier, but I was wrong. I think it's the publishing part I general that gets to me. Just before I send my book to publishing I get the dreaded butterflies in my stomach. Then once it goes to publication I have a mini panic attack. So the break after each book is needed to get my mind back into perspective.

My new book. I am very excited to be writing this new book. I feel honored that I have been given the opportunity to do this. I am writing someone else's true paranormal story. I think you are really going to enjoy this one. I will try to give you more information on it as I get deeper into the storyline. Right now, It is slow going, but the first few chapters of any new book starts off slow for me. Just keep checking my pages for future updates on this.

Now I'm going to talk Graphics for a minute. As most of you already know I started out as a graphics and web designer. My first passion has always been writing, but it took an act of congress to find a publisher. Now that I am an Indie writer, I put all of my time into writing, which leaves me absolutely no time for web design. I have stopped that completely. But, I still feel that urge to open my paint shop pro or photo shop and get creative. I have been tossing around the idea to keep doing some blog sets and maybe throw in some book covers for Indie writers. What do you think? Maybe offer a free book cover for first-time writers? That way I could be doing something I enjoy and helping out the indie community. I would love to know your thoughts and opinions on this.

Family Ties

I hope to be releasing my first work of Fiction very soon. This is different from anything I have written this far. I know that some of you are probably wondering, why fiction. Well, It's like this. With my other books, there is not activity on a daily basis, so that gives a lull in between books. I have always wanted to try my hand at fiction, so I gave it a shot. I hope you enjoy it.

Twenty-Six-year-old Hannah Brooks has inherited her grandmother's beach house.
Will she find the peace she longs for in the solitude of the old house or will be worst nightmares be realized?

My Paranormal Life, The Darkness Continues.

I have just finished my second paranormal book. I don't know how or why but this one was much harder than the first. It was a struggle every day to sit down and write, but if it helps one person, then it was worth the heartache and tears it took to write it. I hope you enjoy it. You can purchase it, or read an excerpt on my Book Page.          My Page

Awesome Expedition

Saturday evening we had our last bigfoot expedition of the season. That does in no way mean that we have stopped.Marty, Chris, Cari and I will still be combing the woods looking for more evidence. But as far as the team we have taken a break, most of our members have families, so we try to give them a break over the holidays.

We had a great expedition Saturday evening. We took our team and guests out to the woods after dark. We experienced some tree knocks,a few small rocks being thrown and a few of our team got to hear the low guttural growls. I actually did pretty good this time, we started out together, but then I branched off with a few people and led a team myself. Go Me!! It has been hard to be back out in the woods since Cari's and mine experience. It has taken quite a while to get over that. And I actually did it without thinking, so afterward, I was pretty proud of myself.

I don't think I have told you the news yet. But I have started another book, well, two books actually. After my last Paranormal book, i decided to take a break from the Paranormal due to the fact of it completely draining me. I decided to switch gears a bit and just write a fiction book. This book is coming along a lot better than I could have ever expected. And I have started another Bigfoot book. It will be a part two of the first one. I keep documenting every thing that goes on. So this one should be a lot of fun too. I have one more in mind as far as the Paranormal but it will be a while in coming. Keep your eyes out for the upcoming books!

Until next time, Please know that you are loved.

Catching up

I know it's been a few days since I have posted, but a lot has been going on so let me get you caught up.

For starters, the whole family has had a terrible cold. It acts like the flu, but isn't the full blown flu. Body aches, sore throat, stuffy and runny nose, cough and general fatigue. Chris had it first, then Marty a few days later, then Cari, then T-Bomb then myself, so far, Koda-Bug is doing good. I just hope we can all get over this stuff soon. It has been a big pain in the butt. Luckily, Honey and Lemon is working wonders so maybe it will help us get past this pretty quickly.

A few days ago, Marty was cooking dinner and he was melting some cheese in the microwave.T-Bomb walked past him going down the hall he got half way down the hall he stopped, and turned around saying "Papa don't follow"... then he saw Marty was still at the microwave and he just stopped talking and walked on into his bedroom. So he felt something following him down the hall and thought it was his Papa.We all talked about this later, It could have just been nothing. But we all agreed to start watching him a bit closer.

Since the weather has been turning cooler, we all like to take a cup of coffee and sit out on the front porch in the late afternoon.T-bomb loves this time as he gets to run all over the front yard. Yesterday Marty, Cari and I had been sitting out on the porch when Cari decided to come in and put some Pizza's in the oven for dinner. A bit later, I came in to get more coffee, Just as I walked into the kitchen with Cari, Chris's smallest Jack Russell Terrier took one look at me and went nuts! He was barking and growling just past my right shoulder. This little dog was going nuts! Just then a bolt of fear shot through my body. This dog does not usually act this way at all especially toward the family. He then turned and ran down the hall to Chris and Cari's bedroom still barking and growling. Something had scared him to death. Cari and I looked at each other like what just happened here. I could still hear Harley having a fit so I went down the hall to check on him. About that time Chris walked out of their room carrying a very disturbed Harley. The dog looked at me and started all over again barking, growling and trembling! It took Chris and I both a while to get him calmed down. Chris finally put him in my arms after he had stopped barking and he was licking my face and wagging his tail like he normally would.I have no clue what this was about. But, I had been sitting on my front porch reading a Paranormal book on my tablet just before I walked into the house.

Last week Marty and I had gone to do some shopping and Cari was cleaning the house. She had asked Chris to take some table scraps outside to the woods to dump them out for our little Red Fox that comes to eat.He grabbed the bowl and headed up the trail in the backyard to the woods. He said just as he started up this trail, when he saw something big and dark walking on all fours to his right, he could see the hair and thought it was a bear, so  he turned and went back inside. That evening, we decided to take some of our equipment up there to see if we could capture anything with the trail cam or audio.I was outside waiting on the rest of the family when I heard a huge tree knock! I told them to hurry up, and we all headed quickly up the trail. We were hearing the footsteps crunching on the leaves but we couldn't see anything through the thick vegetation.. We were scanning the trees to our right when a deer came running from the trees out into the clearing where we stood. It just bolted past us like we weren't even there! I would have loved to stay and listen to see if we heard anything further, but as luck would have it, I went into a coughing fit at this point and probably ran off anything that was within a twenty mile radius! We went ahead and set up the trail cam and audio. Sadly, nothing was captured except for images of the Red Fox eating the table scraps.

My Paranormal Life, A True Haunting, Unedited

I have been working on this new book day and night. It has been harder than I ever thought it would be, as I go back to My Paranormal Life blog and read each post I live these terrible moments all over again. These are some of the worst times in my life, and most of them I would rather forget. Sometimes I wonder if I even want to do this. A lot of people have asked me to put the unedited story out there I said I would, but twice I have stopped. Now, I'm to the point of I just want to get this done.
Thankfully, when I am having a hard time with this, Cari helps me. She is currently being my rock.
I don't know if it's my writing this book , but I seem to be staying sick while I work on it.I don't know if that is coincidence or if it's something trying to stop me from getting this story out.Either way, I am now determined to finish it. I am about a month away from getting it completed. You will only find my book updates here. And anything else paranormal going on with our family. Please continue to send me your prayers and support as I complete the last few chapters of our story. And thank you Cari George for helping me get through this.

Catching up

We had a great Bigfoot expedition August 16th. Many of the team members had personal experiences, and we got some good audio during the night. I am always amazed at hearing the Bi-pedal footsteps, and we hear them every night that we go out into the woods. I will get that video up on YouTube later today.Don't worry, I will pop back over here and post the link.

Well I have decided to re-brand my Southern Moon Creations next spring. When I first chose this name for myself, I got my web site all set up and then realized that some other woman had chosen the same name for her Etsy store. That pretty much cut out my selling on there. I contacted this lady and let her know that I had purchased the Domain name, well that didn't get me any where. She was not a person to be talked to, I found her to be very rude and uncaring. So I just decided to ride the ride since I had just purchased the name. But now it's time for me to come up with another that will be "just mine" all across the board, Facebook, Twitter, Etsy, Pinterest  so forth and so on. I have lost sales due to the fact that I share a name with someone, yet I have been kind enough to redirect her potential clients to her.So you guys please bare with me as I work through this. I will still offer the same quality and care to my current clients, and I hope to maybe pick up one or two more along the way. With the cooler months coming on, I will now have time to accept a bit larger workload.

My Bigfoot book is now out, It's not doing as well as I would have liked, but it's still new so word of mouth has not gotten around yet. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. I have also begun my un-edited version of my first book, My Paranormal Life, A True Haunting. This has been a really hard thing for me to do. As I go back and write each page based on my Blog posts. I am finding that I have to re-live it all over again. That is not something I wanted to do at all. Now for a Big Secret,  you will only see it here, and it will only be posted this once.I have started a part two to My Paranormal life. I am not sure when this book will be out. I know it probably won't be this year. But I have begun to work on it.So get prepared for the continuance of the George family's journey with the Paranormal. The Second book has turned out to be even harder than the first. Each time I began to work on these books, the activity sort of ramps up.And it seems to be taking more out of me than I thought it would, I am emotionally drained every day that I work on these. But If I can help just one person to not have to live the nightmare that we endured, then it will be well worth the effort.

I hope to be updating soon with my new Web site and more news on the upcoming books.

Until next time, Please know that you are special and you are loved! xoxo

Cold Weekend

The weekend was nice. But we have had Arctic temperatures. So cold that we had to post pone our Big foot expedition. That was a bummer. The news reporters  came as we didn't reach them in time to notify them of the cancellation. But Chris and Cari still took them out for a while and talked to them. They seemed very intrigued with the footage and report that they got.

My book seems to be doing pretty good. I have ordered a few extra copies just for signing. It still seems odd to hold my book in my hand. I never had any intention of our story becoming a book. But if it helps just one person or family. Then it was worth it. It's funny how everyone keeps asking me if i am still documenting. I have been vague so far. But I may let the cat out of the bag soon. :) I just need time to get my head wrapped around everything and get my ducks in a row. No hurries.

I still have people asking if I am still going to review products. Yes. Yes. Yes. I just haven't come across anything spectacular yet. And I didn't see moving the ones i had already done from my other Blog. So just keep following me. They will be there.

My First!

So much has been going on, I'm not sure what to post first.

We have a Carolina Cryptid Crew training expedition coming up this Saturday. I have tons of stuff yet to get done. But they are always a lot of fun.The team seems to really enjoy them. And we have some new members this time. So it should be a good time.I'm anxious to see how our new members will familiarize themselves with the evidence on the Blog before they get here. However, I am not looking forward to the temps we are going to have to endure. I will be dead for sure come Sunday morning.

Lat week, I gave our Female Boston Terrier "Bella" to a friend of mine. I kept both of Bella and Levi's pups. But Bella and Amy weren't getting along so good. So Naturally two-year-old Bella, had to leave before thirteen-year-old Amy.I was praying that I had made the right decision for everyone involved. And it turns out, I did! My friend Maurica just adores her. And she gets along good with Maurica's male Ruger. Not to mention that she looks completely content in the photos I have seen. It made me feel so good that it turned out to be a perfect match. And it is so much better for Bella too.

I got my copy of my book yesterday. Even as I hold it in my hands. It just doesn't seem real. It is something that I have always thought of doing. But now that I actually have. It's surreal.

I guess that's about it for now. Just remember, someone loves you. I do. XOXOXO
